Spring Sheep Milk Co. established. Spring Sheep Milk Co. is a unique public-private partnership between the New Zealand Government-owned enterprise, Pāmu Farms of New Zealand, and export-focused sales and marketing company SLC Group.

St Kilda Farm Opened. First milking with 3,000 ewes through parlour.
2016
Launched in Taiwan and in New Zealand. Whole Milk Powder 700g cans on sale in thousands of pharmacies in Taiwan and select stores in New Zealand.
2016
Primary Growth Partnership (PGP) Programme - Sheep Horizon Three partnership with Ministry for Primary Industries kicked off. The six year partnership between Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) and Spring Sheep Milk Co. began. PGP Programme Sheep Horizon Three focused on developing a sustainable and high-value New Zealand sheep milk industry.
2017
NZ Food Awards Supreme Winner + Launch into Vietnam and Malaysia. Massey University Supreme Award for its vanilla-flavoured sheep milk powder, which also won them the NZTE Export Innovation Award for breaking new ground in product innovation and entering new markets. Launched in Vietnam and Malaysia.
2017
Stage 3 Toddler Milk Drink Launched in Malaysia. The first sheep milk offering to launch in this market. It quickly established a robust pharmacy and grocery presence in Kuala Lumpur and other major cities.
2020
First external supplier farmer onboard. James and Stacey-Anne Wallace join Spring Sheep Milk Co.
2020
Launched into China through Cross-border e-commerce. Our English label infant formula range and whole milk powder pouches launched into the China market, via a cross-border eCommerce channel. Tmall Global Flagship store opened.
2021
Launched into China General Trade. Our first range of bespoke Chinese label advanced nutrition powders launched into China retail stores, including our new Active Mid-Seniors Formula and Stage 4 Children's Formula.

World Diary Innovation Awards Winner - Best Infant Nutrition for our Gentle Sheep Toddler Milk Drink. Spring Sheep Milk Co. won “best infant nutrition” product at the World Dairy Innovation awards for Gentle Sheep Toddler Milk Drink. In the same year, we were also incredibly proud to pick up National Awards: Deloitte Fast 50 Index - Fastest Growing Agri-business, Waikato Chamber of Commerce - Innovation, Auckland Chamber of Commerce - Best of the Best - Best Emerging Business

Zealandia® officially registered as a breed in New Zealand.

Sustainable Food and Fibre Futures (SFF Futures) Scale Up with Ministry for Primary Industries began. Through its Sustainable Food and Fibre Futures (SFF Futures) fund, the Government is backing ‘Scale Up’, a new five-year partnership programme with Spring Sheep Milk Co. designed to take the dairy sheep industry from the piloting phase through to an established primary industry.

Deloitte Fast 50 regional award winners for the Central North Island where we proudly claimed wins in two categories: Fastest Growing Exporter and Fastest Growing Agribusiness

Spring Sheep achieved SAMR approval to sell our Chinese label infant milk formula products across all retail channels in China, making us one of only eight New Zealand companies to receive this prestigious registration.

Acquired a 12% stake in the primary processing facility, Melody Dairies, located in Hamilton, New Zealand.

Launched our specialty sheep cheese division and completed first commercial production
